New Studio!

Hi Friends,

It’s been a while and I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and enjoying this holiday season without too much stress.

I wanted to share with you something very special to me! As many of you know, I have been painting on a little tabletop easel in my kitchen for almost nine years.

Well this past June we purchased a she-shed and put it in our back yard. Six months later and lots of work from my hubby, my brother-in-law, Mike, and good friends, Stan, JP and Aaron, it is finally finished! I will take credit for the decorating, and thrilled to have my own little studio/get away. It has been a very busy season in my personal life with several things going on, so I haven’t yet been able to use it much. However, I feel this will change as we head into the new year! I haven’t quite decided what to call “her” as she-shed doesn’t do her justice. I thought about naming her the Hermitage because it will be a place I can escape the world, not to mention puppy and do what I love to do - paint, read, journal to name a few. But I‘m not fully sold on this so if any of you have any suggestions for a name, I’d love to hear from you

That’s all for now. Hopefully I will be back soon with some new paintings!!

Sending my best and wishing you all a very Happy 2023!

Connie

Since this photo, we now have a concrete pad and step. But I don’t want to go out in the cold to take a new photo! ;)

My little reading nook.

Even though I haven’t been down a lot, I just had to put up a tree!

My work area which is a little messy here, and coffee station to the left.

A different angle of work area. Jimmy has since put a cabinet door up to hide the water heater beside the sink.
